Interspeech 2008
INTERSPEECH 2008 is the ninth conference in the annual series of Interspeech events. It will be held in Brisbane, Australia, under the sponsorship of the Australasian Speech Science and Technology Association (ASSTA) and the International Speech Communication Association (ISCA).
INTERSPEECH 2008 will cover all the scientific and technological aspects of speech science and technology. We are expecting more than 1000 participants from all over the world and more than 700 papers to be presented in parallel oral and poster sessions. The conference will also include plenary talks by internationally renowned experts, tutorials, exhibits, and special sessions. More details about the topics can be found on the Call for Papers page.
INTERSPEECH 2008 will take place in the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, ideally located on the southern banks of the city at South Bank - Brisbane's unique resort style, entertainment and lifestyle precinct. With its tropical gardens, lagoons, cafés, theatres and museums, South Bank is the heart of Brisbane's cultural, arts, entertainment and tropical lifestyle scene. Brisbane, the capital of Queensland, is a modern, dynamic, sophisticated and cosmopolitan city with a friendly and relaxed lifestyle.
Several satelite workshops and exhibitions will further enrich the conference content. For an update of planned events, have a look at the Satellite Events page.
